Makin momma proud

Well, Kale took his role of big brother very seriously today, and he made me proud. We went to meet Jeannie and her boys at the park this morning, and there were a lot of kids there. Casey Jr and another little boy got in a little playground fight, only it got a little scary cuz it was up on one of the platforms, and Casey nearly got pushed off. Kale was standing on the platform as well, and he jumped right in between Case and the other boy, pushed the other boy and said, "you are being a BAD BOY!" Now, maybe I should have disciplined Kale for pushing the boy, but I was so proud that he defended his cousin! And it wasn't like he had joined in the fight, he was just getting that boy away from Case and telling him that his behavior was bad. This was also a fun thing to watch, because I KNOW Kale would have done the same thing if it was Jack, but he and Casey don't click really, and the fact that he stepped in anyways showed that he loves his little cousin, and he is going to look out for him despite their differences.
